Self-conceit, or vanity, can subtly creep into our hearts, undermining our sincerity and distorting our actions. Islam teaches us the importance of humility and sincerity, warning us against the dangers of self-conceit (ujub) that can lead to spiritual downfall. Our class, “Guarding Your Heart from Self-Conceit: The Islamic Path to Humility and Sincerity,” is designed to help participants recognize and combat this destructive trait, cultivating a heart grounded in humility and sincere devotion to Allah.
Led by Ustaz Harith, this class explores the Islamic teachings on self-conceit, its signs, and its harmful effects on the soul. Through engaging lectures, reflective discussions, and practical exercises, participants will learn how to safeguard their hearts from vanity and nurture the qualities of humility and sincerity.

In times of hardship, you constantly remember and call upon Him. You bow down and cry before Him, and He answers your prayers. But once He helps you through, sometimes you forget to be grateful, and you drift away from Him.
So what should you do?,
Return to Him, for indeed, Allah is the Owner of all things. If not for Him, you would never have reached where you are today. Even now, He still gives you the chance to worship Him.
